Board of Directors
A Board of Directors, whose wealth of experience and expertise span various facets of the Nigerian Economy, determines the policy framework of the company
The Board is composed of the following members;
Princess Adenike Adeniran – Chairman - , who qualified as a professional Accountant in 1970, started a career in Banking with Co-operative Bank Limited in 1971 and retired as the Chief Accountant of your Bank in 1986. She joined the services of Nigbel Merchant Bank Limited (now NBM Bank Ltd) from inception in 1987 as a General Manager and left in 1989 to become the Chief Executive of Dominion Trust Limited. She is the Chairman of Dominion Group.
She is a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigerian (ICAN) and was a Council member for over two decades. She is also a Past President of Association of Accounting Bodies in West Africa and the first President of the International Federation of Women Accountants (IFWA), Africa Region. She is also a seasoned Stockbroker and a former Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. She was involved in the cross debt reconciliation of all Federal Government’s parastatals as a basis for Federal Government’s Privatization and Commercialization Scheme.
She has also served on the sub-committee of the Technical Committee on Privatization and Commercialization of Delta Steel Company Limited and all the three Inland Steel Rolling Companies that is, Oshogbo, Katsina and Jos Steel Rolling Companies. She is presently serving as a member of the National Economic Intelligence Committee and also on the Board of Skye Bank Plc.
Alhaji Adesupo Odukoya – Director - is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Surveyors and was second Vice-President of the Institute. He is a licensed surveyor with wide experience in surveying both in public and private sectors. He worked with the Federal Ministry of Works, Survey Division between 1969 and 1975 where he left as a Senior Surveyor. He joined Geodetic Surveys Limited, Lagos in 1975 as Chief Licensed Surveyor and became a Director of the Company in 1976.
He later set up Map Data Services – a firm of Licensed Surveyors and Surveying Engineers in 1976 with another Nigerian. He is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Mr. Olusegun Olusanya – Director - holds a Masters Degree in Economics and became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered and Certified Accountants in 1977. He served in various Federal Government Ministries like Finance, Defence, National Planning and Cabinet Office where he left as Chief Accountant in 1979. He joined Savannah Bank Plc in 1980 and served in several capacities until he left as Deputy General Manager in 1982. He had at various times served as an Executive Director in AfriBank Plc, Nigerian Merchant Bank Limited, and Union Bank Plc. He was also on the board of Gateway Bank between 1989 and 1992.
He is the immediate past Chairman of the resuscitated National Bank of Nigeria Plc. He is currently on the Board of Standard Alliance Insurance Company Limited and Tripple Gee and Company Plc.
Senator Nuhu Aliyu – Director - is a retired Deputy Inspector General of Police. He passed out of the Southern Police College, Ikeja as a sub-Inspector of Police in April, 1963. During his service, he attended various courses both locally and overseas. He served in most parts of the country before being posted to the office of Deputy Inspector General (Operations) in 1993. He finally retired from service in September 1996 and is at present a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Otunba Olusola Adekanola mni - Director - became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered and Certified Accountants in 1979, fellow of the institue of Chartered Accountants in 1983 and fellow of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 1984. He started his working life in ONAwaola, Popoola & Co in 1979-1980; he was with Egunjobi Suleiman & Co between 1980- 1981. He later moved to Otunba Adebayo & Co between 1981-1984 before finally setting up his own firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners, Olusola Adekanola & Co in 1984. He has since served as the Group Executive Chairman/ Managing Partner. Otunba Adekanola enjoys playing golf during his leisure time.
Mr. Adewale Olumuyiwa Dada – Group Managing Director - is a Chartered Banker and a Chartered Accountant by profession with extensive exposure in Banking and Finance. He joined the services of Co-operative Bank Limited in 1977 and worked in virtually all departments of your Bank in its Lagos Branches. He rose progressively in the establishment until he left in July 1990 as an Accountant.
He joined Dominion Trust Limited in August 1990 and qualified as a Stockbroker and an Authorised Dealer of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1997. He is highly experienced in Finance, Investment and Accounting. In January 2004, he was appointed the Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Finance Limited, a member of the Dominion Group. He is currently the GMD (Group Managing Director) of Dominion Group.
Mrs. Toyin Ogunseye - She is an expert on Relationship management and selling skills, amongst others. She has 23 years experience as a broker in the Insurance Industry. She worked with Femi Johnson & Co Insurance as the Assistant Manager and Custodian & Allied Insurance Plc as the Assistant General Manager. Presently, she is serving as the Managing Director of Law Union and Rock Insurance, Plc. Lagos.
MR. BADEJOKO ADELEKE O. - AG MD/CEO - Graduated from Ogun State University Ago-Iwoye with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sociology in 1999. He is an Associate Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. He joined Dominion Group in 2002 and was opportune to work in all the Group’s companies. He is versatile in both Capital and Money markets. He has attended several management courses organized by CBN, FHAN and etc. His experience in the financial market spans over 12 years and still counting. He is currently the Ag MD/CEO of Dominion Finance Limited.
